Accessing the System

Account Registration (Email)

To access ClearCheck, users must create an account through the secure registration page by selecting “Sign Up” on the ClearCheck platform.

During registration, the user is required to:

  • Enter a valid first and last name (Latin characters only)

  • Provide a valid email address

  • Create a password

  • Review and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

The Continue button remains disabled until the required fields are completed and the policy checkbox is selected.

Once the registration form is submitted, ClearCheck sends a verification email to the provided email address. The user must open the email and click the verification link to confirm ownership of the email address and complete account activation.

This email verification step is required before accessing the platform.


Account Verification & Access

After successful email verification, the user is granted access to the ClearCheck dashboard. Depending on security or compliance requirements, the system may request additional verification (such as phone number confirmation) to protect account access.

Once verification is complete, the user can:

  • Sign in to the ClearCheck dashboard

  • Purchase a report package

  • Use credits to generate background check reports

  • Download completed reports for internal hiring review

ClearCheck does not provide free trials or free searches. All report generation requires an active, prepaid credit balance.


Signing In

Registered users can sign in using their email address and password through the ClearCheck login page.

Upon successful authentication, the user is redirected to the dashboard where account balance, reports, and platform features are available.


Forgot Password

If a user forgets their password, they can reset it by selecting “Forgot your password?” on the sign-in page.

The password reset process includes:

  1. Entering the email address associated with the account

  2. Receiving a secure password reset link via email

  3. Creating a new password

  4. Signing in with the updated credentials

This process ensures secure access without exposing account data.

Register by Facebook/Google

The user can access Clearcheck from his Facebook account or Google account. This can be done by clicking on the Google or Facebook icon on the registration page. A small popup appears to allow the user to enter the credentials for the account in Google or Facebook. After completing this step, the mail verification step is already done and the user has to do the phone verification step only. The user has to insert a valid phone number and a valid code that is in the received message. After completing this step, the user is redirected to the search page in his account.
